Winter Skincare

Better late than never, isn’t it? Since its winters, we all know that it requires even more attention, because obviously who would want their skin to look all cracked and watch their skin peel off from some or the other area. So, I decided to share my skincare routine which I follow (not religiously, though), but well, yea, it works out well for me. So here it goes.

1. CLEANSE

Yep, you need to cleanse your face, foremost. Preferably use a cleanser which contains natural ingredients and not harsh chemicals, as it tends to restore adequate moisture onto your skin. I’d suggest using one with oranges, neem, and aloe vera. My suggestion, my recent favorite: Patanjali Orange and Aloe Vera face wash, it does wonders to my troublesome sensitive skin and if you’re not from India, give a shot to any Dove moisturizing face wash.

2. MOISTURIZE

Winter dryness hits everyone, yes, even the ones with oily skin. Never forget to moisturize even if its using a light moisturizer. I’d suggest: Neturogena Oil Free Moisture.

3.  SUNSCREEN

If you’re one of those who sit under the sun and enjoy it, let me remind you, you’re doing more damage to your skin than only snacking under the sun. Yes, exposure to the sun, be it summer or winter leads to premature ageing. So start using a sunscreen, if you don’t already. Oh yea, 15 minutes before going out in the sun. I’ll suggest you my all time favorite:  Neturogena Ulta Sheer Dry.

4. LIP BALM

I’m a total lip balm fanatic, owning around 15-20 lip balms, right from organic ones to outright chemical based. You need to use them frequently if you want those baby lips always. Since, there is a lot of dry air, one must take care of their lips, as they’re very sensitive and very prone to dryness. I’ll suggest: Patanjali (yes, my recent fav brand) Strawberry Lip Balm or if you’re from outside India, give a shot to EOS but only in Strawberry Sorbet( I’ve tried others but they cracked my lips even more)

If I left out on something, please comment in below, or even if you wish to suggest me some brands to try out.

Breezy Winters!

Hi loves!

Its become very breezy and chilly out there, even though I love winters, I need to protect myself from getting sick (which I ought to get very frequently in this weather). Preventing from catching a cold or getting has nothing to do with not looking your winter best, I’m saying this because I feel winter attire is more chic than summer, spring included. So I have jot down some outfit ideas that are going to make you all warm and pretty.

1. ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK

Anyone who says they don’t own a pair of grey sweats/ coats is lying. Dress up in a LBD and layer it up with a slightly short from the knee coat and watch how it works for itself and you. Perfect attire for office ladies and college girls, in case you’re in a mood for compliments, eh?

4. PONCHO THERAPY
